Founder & Director
Lars Bode is the Founder of Bode, a Berlin-based contemporary art gallery. Bode collaborates with a diverse range of international contemporary artists. Lars has worked in both corporate and startup environments for over 15 years developing international markets and launching products in pharmaceuticals. Recently, he has been focused on developing and executing various programs and initiatives at the intersection of art and culture as cultural entrepreneur.

Associate Curator
Liatna Rodríguez López earned her BA degree in Art History from the University of Havana in 2010 and brings experiences from curating and management to art expertise. Liatna co-created the successful Havana Open House project wich was a collateral offering of the 11th Havana Biennial and co-founded Cuba‘s first private gallery, El Apartamento. She collaborated with various independent spaces in Havana, helping them in their emergence and positioning in the island‘s art scene. Now she's curating for Bode in Cuba, Havana.

Gallery Manager
With an academic background in Art History and Media Science and years of experience in Berlin’s art scene, Maren joined Bode’s Gallery Management in 2024.
Having worked both for galleries as well as managing artist’s studios and productions before has led to her wide-ranging expertise. Creative text-based work gives her just as much joy as planning, structuring, and organizing exhibitions and other artistic projects. -
Special Projects & Sales Manager
Her strength is in strategic business development, and Brand Marketing experience, combined with her work experience made at international large corporations and on the same side being involved in Bode from the very beginning. Colleagues describe her as communicative, creative and very good in networking, with a passion to bring different people together.

Office & Gallery Manager
Edyta has a degree in Art History (Master of Arts) and has gained many years of experience in the gallery field whilst steadily developing her interest in contemporary art.
With her strong communication and social skills, she is mainly responsible for organizing the daily office operations at the gallery and creates the basics for a pleasant and productive working environment. Her tasks also go beyond bookkeeping and handling the international art shipping.

Gallery Assistant
Given her academic background in Art History & International Relations, Valentina brings her curatorial expertise, art mediation and manages the gallery’s “In Conversation” series talking with the artists about their practice. The scope of her interests stretches from the Dutch Golden Age to the French Impressionism, Russian avant-garde, and classical ballet.
